"History has never
been so much fun!"
With a PhD in History and years of theatrical training, as well as 20 years teaching history and 15 years directing and acting, I am nationally renowned for bringing history to vibrant life!
Having performed over 600 one-man shows in the last 25 years at educational venues, theaters, museums, corporate meetings as well as motivational seminars, I have gained a reputation for professionalism in scholarship & performance.
I bring to life a wide variety of "real" historical characters, who cover all aspects of our history: politics, business, the military, the environment, science, as well as entertainment and art; and span every era from the 1600s to the 1980s!
Each one of my "boys" comes to life thru lengthy archival research and exacting accuracy--nothing is altered or excised!
Each character arrives before the audience fully realized with all their energy, genius, quirks, and even their dark or rough edges, in tact.
These are not stale scripted presentations delivered from behind a podium; rather they are full interactive theatrical pieces tailored to each client's needs/desires!
Every performance includes an opportunity for the audience to ask questions. I mean who doesn't wish to talk to Nikola Tesla, Theodore Roosevelt, Henry Ford, Pablo Picasso, or even Nikita Khrushchev?
No matter which character is experienced, every one of them helps us understand our culture and our humanity.
"I came to hear about the circus from P. T. Barnum, and learned what it means to be an American."
